A kiss, a cloud of confetti…a picture-perfect moment

A kiss, 2,000 pounds of confetti and a selfie-stick photo of it all made a New Year’s Eve complete in Times Square. Six thousand police officers, including some with machine guns, radiation detectors and bomb-sniffing dogs, were deployed due to a terror alert that was also in effect in other cities around the planet where celebrations occurred. Speaking of which, Planet Fitness gave out free purple top hats for the occasion.
