Bus-ted on Avenue B

Last Saturday night, as it was on a Friday night in early December, a police mobile command post was again parked outside Le Souk nightclub on Avenue B between Third and Fourth Sts. Police gave out 25 summons at the spot in two to three hours, mostly to cabs for blocking traffic and picking up barhoppers too far from the curb. On Friday night, another police communications vehicle was posted at Avenue A and St. Mark’s Pl., where officers did sobriety checks of drivers.
