Gang scene

A public service ad by the city on Avenue A advises passersby that a swing gang is the term for workers who construct the sets for TV and film sidewalk shoots, and that 100,000 New Yorkers are employed in the TV and film industry in the city. But, as often as not, many New Yorkers would prefer the film crews not dance the Lindy but simply let them get through.
