The man was stabbed once in the back shortly after 3 p.m. on the stairs of a station on 34th Street and Seventh Avenue, police said. He was taken to Mount Sinai Roosevelt Hospital in stable condition. Police said they are looking for two suspects, one male and one female, but they did not release any other information about the suspects.
