New T-shirt on the block

Threatening to give the classic C.B.G.B. T-shirts a run for their money are T-shirts from Billy’s Antiques & Props. At left, Clayton Patterson sported a Billy T at the premier of his biopic, “Captured,” though his beard covered the logo. At right, singer Fergie rocked one on a power walk. “Last summer my daughter and I designed the T-shirt,” said Billy Leroy, the East Houston St. store’s owner. “I thought it would be good for her portfolio since she is applying to Cooper Union this year. I made a small batch and gave them away, mostly to good customers, friends and celebrities; Ethan Hawke is one that comes to mind.”
