Gun violence continued to plague parts of the city between Saturday and early Sunday morning, leaving one man dead in Brooklyn and three others wounded in separate incidents.

The fatal shooting happened Saturday in Coney Island, when a 50-year-old man was shot dead in the head on a park bench in front of 3306 Bayview Ave., near Kaiser Park, at 8:05 a.m.

Officers from the 60th Precinct found the victim while responding to a ShotSpotter activation. The unidentified victim had suffered several gunshot wounds to his head.

Responding EMS units pronounced him dead at the location. There were no witnesses at this time and the investigation is continuing.

In other shootings, there were reports of gunfire in the Sumner Houses, a NYCHA development in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

In the first incident, officers from the 79th Precinct were called to 896 Park Ave. in Bedford Stuyvesant where they found in a third-floor apartment a 28-year-old man shot in the arm and chest.

Law enforcement sources said the victim took the bullets during a dispute with another unidentified man, who was suffered a slash wound to the neck.

Both were rushed to Kings County Hospital, where they were both expected to survive their wounds.

Investigators say both men were “uncooperative” with police and were being held in custody pending possible charges against each of them. A gun was recovered inside the apartment after the shooting.

The second Sumner Houses shooting occurred at 12:14 a.m. Sunday morning, when police received a call of a 17-year-old male shot once in the left leg inside the lobby of 44 Marcus Garvey Blvd. He was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where he was said to be in stable condition.

Law enforcement sources said the victim in this case was also “uncooperative” with investigators. Cops were looking at video from the housing development for clues to the shooter.

Finally, officers from the 113th Precinct received a ShotSpotter activation at 5:45 p.m. on Nov. 21, where they found an 18-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the left leg in front of 174-09 137th Ave. in Jamaica, Queens. He was taken to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition.

He, too, “uncooperative” with investigators, cops said. Police believe this shooting was gang-related.

In addition to the shootings, there were a few incidents of shots fired in various parts of the city, but nobody hit. Also, several police officers received minor injuries when they tried to stop a car at East 51st Street and Avenue N and the fleeing vehicle crashed into the patrol car at Utica Avenue and Avenue J. The male occupant was arrested and a gun was recovered from the vehicle.

Police seek information

The NYPD is trying to identify the vehicle and assailants in a video in connection to a fatal shooting on Sept. 12 in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.

At about 5:22 p.m. that day, a man parked 33-year-old Arfan Butt’s vehicle in front of 1222 78th Street and left the vehicle. A second male suspect then exited the vehicle through the rear driver’s side door and shot Butt, still inside the car, several times in the torso.

Both assailants entered a waiting gold four-door Mercedes Benz, operated by a third person, according to detectives from the 68th Precinct, and fled the scene eastbound on 78th Street. The assailants’ vehicle was last seen traveling west-bound on the Verrazzano Bridge.

EMS rushed Butt to Maimonides Medical Center where he was dead on arrival.

The first man is described as a man with a dark complexion wearing a dark colored baseball cap, a mask over his face, a white shirt, blue shorts and white sneakers.

The second assailant is a man with a dark complexion who wore a black baseball cap, a mask over his face, a black shirt, dark colored pants and black shoes.

The third person driving the getaway car wore a red shirt.
