Randolph Holder, NYPD officer, shot in head in East Harlem dies, officials say

An NYPD plainclothes officer assigned to the housing bureau died late Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015 at a Harlem hospital after a suspect shot him in the head during a foot pursuit, Police Commissioner William Bratton said at a news conference where the officer was treated.
