More than 1,200 people turned out on Sept. 20 for the Union Square Partnership’s Harvest in the Square in Union Square’s north plaza for food, wine, music and presentations by 50 neighborhood establishments. The 12th annual event raised $180,000 for the Partnership’s park improvement projects.
“I want to thank all of our sponsors and guests for making this the most successful and best-tasting Harvest ever,” said Jennifer Falk, executive director of the Partnership. The Union Square Partnership, the event’s sponsor, is the city’s first business improvement district, centered on Union Square Park, which includes both sides of 14th St. north to 20th St. between Sixth and First Aves.
