Cops are looking for a duo who robbed a man and beat him with lumber in the Bronx earlier this month.

Police say that at 6:05 a.m. on Jan. 1, a 30-year-old man was walking in the vicinity of Wheeler Avenue and Westchester Avenue when he was approached by two unknown men. The men then pulled out a piece of lumber and struck the victim multiple times in the head and back.

The crooks then took the victim’s cellphone and an undetermined amount of cash before fleeing the scene on foot. The victim suffered bruising and swelling and was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in stable condition.

The suspects are described as men in their 20s. The first suspect, who has a goatee, was last seen wearing all black clothing while the second suspect was last seen wearing a dark blue bubble jacket.
