A new show that is coming to Netflix plans to put a fresh take on the Korean zombie genre.

The show, called “All of Us Are Dead,” centers around a group of high school students who are faced with an extreme crisis situation – the group gets trapped in their school while a zombie virus spreads. Netflix is teaming up with director Lee JQ to produce the series.

“All of Us Are Dead” will be based off of a popular Korean web series “Now at Our School” (literal translation of its Korean title, 지금 우리 학교는), which has been topping charts not just in South Korea but has also been received well in Indonesia, Thailand and Taiwan. The show is set to write an exciting new chapter in the Korean zombie genre, as director Lee will bring a fresh energy through the solid narrative and the attention-grabbing cinematography.

“All of Us Are Dead” is written by Chun Sung-il, and directed by Lee JQ and Kim Nam-su. It will be produced by JTBC Studios in association with Film Monster, and will premiere worldwide on Netflix.
