Fusion food heads in a new, inspired direction in NYC

French-Japanese? New England-Carribbean? The cronut isn’t the only mash-up worth trying in NYC.

While pan-Asian (read: mediocre sushi and stir fry) restaurants seem to be on almost every city corner, New York City is embracing new fusion combinations that experiment with unique ingredient combinations, flavors and dishes unlike we’ve seen before.

From steamed chorizo and chicken dumplings to grilled duck meatballs with miso mustard, we’re excited to try even more outstanding creations new to the fusion scene.

Mix it up and check out one of NYC’s new fusion phenomenons.
