Woman critically injured after driver hits her with car on Queens street

A woman is in critical condition after she was hit by a car in Queens on Wednesday morning.

Police say that at around 8:30 a.m. on April 29, a 32-year-old woman was running eastbound on Central Avenue in Glendale when she was hit by a passing car near 73rd Place. The victim was rushed to Jamaica Hospital, where she is listed in critical condition.

The driver remained at the scene following the collision. The investigation is ongoing.
