Re “Need to protect” (letter to the editor, May 18)
Two weeks ago, your paper published a misquote of mine. By phone, the editor apologized and told me a retraction would appear last week. It did not. What is more, a letter was published based on the misquote.
The C.B. 1 Affordable Housing Task Force and I have not given anything but spirited and repeated support and praise to the Southbridge pioneers and leaders of our community.
Not only did your efforts hurt the good name of our C.B.1 Task Force, but it also hurt the president of the Southbridge Board, who unknowingly responded to your misinformation.
