Bernie Sanders rally to be held at Washington Square Park, Vampire Weekend to perform

Some New Yorkers will be feeling the Bern Wednesday in Washington Square Park.

They’ll also get a free concert. According to the Bernie Sanders campaign, Vampire Weekend will give a free concert at the candidate's rally.

The music will start at 7 p.m., and the program begins at 8 p.m., according to the Facebook event for the rally.

Celebrities Spike Lee, Rosario Dawson, Shailene Woodley Linda Sarsour, Tim Robbins and Graham Nash are also expected to be at the rally.

People are encouraged to get to the park before 5 p.m., when access begins. Admission is first come, first served, and general admission entrances will be at the Southwest and Southeast corners of the park.

The campaign also recommends not bringing bags or any large items.

The rally is being hosted by the groups New York for Bernie Sanders 2016, Manhattan for Bernie Sanders among other groups, according to the Facebook event page.
