Protesters flocked to Federal Plaza on Thursday evening for a “Deportee Suitcase Action” in a demonstration against federal immigration policy. Reform advocates asked attendees to consider what they would pack for a loved one facing deportation, as each person with an expulsion order is allowed one bag before departure.
