Police said a group of eight to 10 men attacked the 26-year-old victim outside of a restaurant on Myrtle Avenue near Linden Street around midnight on Saturday. Police said the victim was punched, kicked, stabbed with a sharp object and hit with bar stools during the assault. He suffered lacerations to his torso, shoulder and arm, police said. recommended reading Major crime in NYC by borough The victim was taken to Elmhurst Hospital Center in critical but stable condition, police said. The group of men, described by police as being in their early to mid-20s, fled eastbound on Myrtle Avenue. Anyone with information on the incident is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-8477.
