Crook breaks into Manhattan apartment and swipes electronics while the victim slept: NYPD

Cops are looking for a crook who broke into a Manhattan apartment and stole a man’s belongings while he slept.

According to police, at 9 a.m. on Nov. 12 a 30-year-old man was inside his home, located in the vicinity of 8th Avenue and West 12th Street, when he realized that his electronics had been stolen and contacted the 6th Precinct. An investigation found that at 4 a.m. that same day, an unknown man entered the ground floor apartment through the front door while the victim was asleep.

Once inside, the suspect took electronics and a bag valued at $300. No one was injured as a result of the incident. 

The NYPD released video of the suspect taken from inside the apartment building. He is described as a man between the ages of 20 and 30 years old.
