HARASSMENT: Dangerous recycling | An unknown man threatened a Rite Aid employee with bodily harm on Sat., Sept. 19. The approximately 40-year-old male perpetrator entered the store located at 188 Ninth Ave. (btw. W. 21st & W. 22nd Sts.) at about 3:50 p.m. to return some bottles for change. But the employee, a 25-year-old Chelsea resident, refused to accept one of the bottles. She received a violent threat in response. Police have not located a suspect.

PETIT LARCENY: Diamonds were not forever hers | Someone stole a $200 silver and diamond bracelet from a woman working at a fashion show at the Javits Center (655 W. 34th St. btw 11th & 12th Aves.) on Sat., Sept. 19. The 22-year-old victim left her wallet unattended that morning. The Brooklyn resident later returned to find that someone stole the bracelet and $20 cash from her wallet, which was left at the scene. There was no video footage, police said.

GRAND LARCENY: Taken from right under her nose | An iPhone 6 Plus worth $1,000 went missing at about 10 p.m. on Tues., Sept. 15 within One Oak, a bar located at 453 W. 17th St. (btw. Ninth & Tenth Aves.). Upon realizing the phone was no longer in her possession, the victim called her number, and it rang a few times before going to voicemail. An attempt to find it via the Find My Phone app revealed that the thief had moved to a new location. The victim attempted to contact the thief to offer a reward in exchange for the phone. There was no response.

PUBLIC LEWDNESS: Left as quickly as he came | There was too much of a view outside a car parked in front of Holy Apostles Church (296 Ninth Ave. btw. W. 26th & W. 28th Sts.) on Fri., Sept. 18. A 42-year-old woman from Virginia told police that she saw a man wearing a checkered shirt come up to her passenger side window and begin masturbating at about 1:55 p.m. He then fled the scene without a trace, via taxi.

DEAD ON ARRIVAL: Suspected suicide | Police say that a 75-year-old man leapt to his death from a balcony on Sat., Sept. 19. The body of Carl Karncke was found on the sidewalk in front of his residence on the 200 block of Ninth Ave. at about 11:15 p.m. The FDNY pronounced him dead minutes later. A police report states that foul play is not suspected.
