Cops are searching for a man who climbed into a woman’s Little Italy apartment through a window and raped her a knifepoint as her 7-year-old daughter lay beside her, according to published reports.
The suspect climbed the building’s fire escape and entered the 42-year-old victim’s home on Mulberry Street around 3:30 a.m. yesterday, published reports said. He pulled a knife and raped her.
Police said the child didn’t wake up, the Post reported.
The suspect is described as about 5’9" and was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, black pants, a white T-shirt and a knit cap, the Post said.
