Alex Rodriguez must inform Major League Baseball officials by Monday whether he will accept a settlement in the Biogenesis Clinic scandal, according to multiple reports. A-Rod, who allegedly purchased performance-enhancing drugs from the Florida facility, reportedly has been given the option of accepting a suspension through the end of the 2014 season or having baseball officials pursue a lifetime ban against the three-time MVP. Rodriguez has denied any wrongdoing and will reportedly fight any suspension.
Fast food workers hungry for better pay
Saying they are earning unlivable wages, hundreds of New York City fast food workers are planning to walk off the job Monday and stage rallies across the city. The biggest protest will happen at 3 p.m. at Union Square. The workers are calling for wages of $15 an hour and the right to form a union without retaliation.
Autopsies results could be released
The autopsy results of a bride-to-be and her fiance’s best man who were killed in a boat accident in the Hudson River on Friday night could be released Monday. The bodies of Lindsey Stewart and Mark Lennon, both 30, were recovered in the river after the 21-foot power boat they were riding in struck a construction barge near the Tappan Zee Bridge. Police believe the boat’s driver, Jojo John, 35, who has been charged with vehicular manslaughter and vehicular assault, may have been intoxicated.

The Harlem Interfaith Commission for Housing Equality will host a mayoral forum at 6:30 p.m. Monday. Sal Albanese, Adolfo Carrion Jr., Bill de Blasio, John Liu, Erick Salgado and Anthony Weiner are scheduled to attend the event, which will be held at the Thessalonia Worship Center in the Bronx.
Free gospel concert in Brooklyn
Enjoy free gospel music at the Martin Luther King Jr. Concert Series at Wingate Park in Brooklyn. Marvin Sapp will headline the show, which will also feature Israel Houghton and the New Breed and the Christian Cultural Center Choir. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
