A man riding a motorized scooter dragged an 86-year-old woman down a sidewalk in Manhattan after grabbing her purse earlier this month, police said.

The NYPD released surveillance footage of the incident Monday in hopes of identifying the man.

Wearing a yellow helmet, the suspect is seen mounting the sidewalk at First Avenue and East 64th Street in Lenox Hill at about 3 p.m. on May 4. As he goes by the woman, he grabs her purse, and when she falls to the ground, he drags her for several feet down the sidewalk.

The woman was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center and treated for pain to her left arm, police said.

Two days later, the suspect rode by a 55-year-old man exiting his car in Harlem and knocked the keys out of his hand as he passed, police said. That incident happened at Seventh Avenue and West 139th Street at about 2:50 p.m.

The keys were recovered from under the car, cops said.

Police are asking anyone with information to call 1-800-577-TIPS. No arrests have been made and the investigation was ongoing.
