Two Bronx men are facing assault charges for stabbing a straphanger on board a train in Manhattan on Friday afternoon.
Travis Banks, 42, of East 190th Street, and Angel DeLeon, 46, of East 156th Street, were booked for the bloody attack on board a Bronx-bound D train at the West 4th Street-Washington Square station in Greenwich Village at about 4:45 p.m. on May 2.
Officers from the 6th Precinct and NYPD Transit District 2 were alerted to the stabbing and found the victim, a 46-year-old man, with a stab wound to his torso.

Police sources did not disclose a possible motive for the attack, though it was reported on the Citizen app that it may have stemmed from a verbal argument.
EMS rushed the victim to Bellevue Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
During the preliminary investigation, police apprehended Banks and DeLeon at the scene moments after responding.
Banks was charged with first- and second-degree assault, along with additional counts of menacing and criminal possession. DeLeon, meanwhile, was hit with charges of menacing, third-degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
