Cops searching for duo who stabbed 40-year-old in the Bronx

Police are searching for the two suspects who stabbed a 40-year-old man in the Bronx earlier this month. 

According to the investigation, the pair of men approached the victim near White Plains Road and East Gun Hill Road in the East Bronx on Dec. 6, and stabbed him in the lower back. 

Paramedics arrived at the scene at around noon, and rushed the bloodied victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in stable condition. 

The suspects, meanwhile, fled the location before police arrived.

No arrests have yet been made, and the investigation remains ongoing. An NYPD spokesperson did not release a suspected motive for the crime. 

Police described the first suspect as a man, between the ages of 40 and 50, with dark skin and a heavy build. The second suspect is listed as a dark-skinned man between the ages of 30 and 35.
