A man is fighting for his life Wednesday morning at a Brooklyn hospital after being stabbed multiple times during an apparent dispute with a motorcyclist, police said.
Law enforcement sources reported that the incident unfolded at around 6:36 p.m. on May 20 outside a convenience store at 931 Broadway in Bushwick.
According to police, the victim, a 38-year-old man, became involved in a verbal dispute with a woman. Moments later, the suspect, described as a man wearing a motorcycle club jacket, approached the man and went on the attack, stabbing him three times in the back and once in the stomach.
The cause of the argument and the relationship between the woman and the stabbing suspect were not immediately known, police reported.
Both the suspect and the woman fled by the time officers from the 83rd Precinct responded to the incident. EMS rushed the victim to Kings County Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
So far, no arrests have been made in the ongoing investigation, police said.
