Anton Yelchin was 27 years old when he died on June 19, 2016, after his car rolled and pinned him.
His acting resume was diverse and quite robust, from the 2007 teen comedy “Charlie Bartlett,” in which he played the title character, a teenager searching for meaning, to his recurring turn as Pavel Chekov, an officer on the USS Enterprise in the “Star Trek” world.
Many of the actors he knew and worked with have expressed what Yelchin meant to them.
