DJ-electronic dance-music star Calvin Harris has opened up about his volatile breakup earlier this year with Taylor Swift, saying in the new issue of the UK edition of GQ that “when it ended, all hell broke loose.”
Harris, 32, born Adam Wiles, called it “very difficult when something I consider so personal plays out very publicly. The aftermath of the relationship was way more heavily publicized than the relationship itself. When we were together,” he said of himself and the pop star, 26, “we were very careful for it not to be a media circus. She respected my feelings in that sense. I’m not good at being a celebrity.”
Still, he conceded, “For both of us it was the wrong situation.”
