Brookfield Place officially open in lower Manhattan

Homesick suburbanites, you’re in luck!

A shiny new mall has opened at 200 Vesey St. in the Financial District. Already home to the fancy food court, Hudson Eats, swanky Brookfield Place debuted a slew of new luxury stores on Thursday, March 26.

From Tory Burch to J. Crew to Theory and the soon to open Hermes, Gucci and Calypso St. Barths, all of your designer labels can be found under one roof alongside glorious Hudson River and skyline views.

Brookfield Place is also home to the much anticipated Le District (opening Monday, March 30), a French marketplace with a patisserie, chocolatier, full service restaurant and more.

Remember when shopping in New York meant actually having to walk from store to store, like, on the sidewalk? For those who can’t get enough mall shopping in, the nearby One World Trade is opening a Westfield Shopping Center later this year. Why move to the suburbs when you can live in lower Manhattan?

Let’s go to the mall!
