Cops are looking for a money-hungry thief who snuck into a newspaper stand inside a Manhattan subway station last week and stole dough.

Police released video on March 19 of the incident that took place at 5 a.m. on March 14 inside the West 4th Street train station in Greenwich Village.

The video shows the suspect outside the newsstand at first, perusing the selection of candy bars. Moments later, authorities said, the crook walked inside the newsstand and, while crouching down, stole $136 in cash from the register.

Law enforcement sources said the 49-year-old newsstand worker confronted the thief, who then pushed him in the chest and fled the scene.

Officers from the 6th Precinct and the NYPD Transit Bureau responded to the incident. The worker was not injured.
