A memorial service of tribute and remembrance in words and music for Al Carmines, former assistant minister at Judson Memorial Church in the Village and playwright, composer and performer in the Judson Poet’s Theater, will be held at 5 p.m. Sun. Nov. 6 at St. James Chapel, Union Theological Seminary, 121st Street and Broadway. Actors, musicians and directors will take part in the tribute to Reverend Carmines, who died Aug. 9.
