Dogs and their owners protested near the spot on E. 11th St. where Jodie Lane, 30, was electrocuted to death by a Con Edison box while she was walking her dogs Jan. 16. The protesters marched to the nearby Con-Ed headquarters to demand the company take further safety measures. Councilmember Margarita Lopez, who also attended the Feb. 11 rally, called on State Attorney General Eliot Spitzer to investigate the utility.
