Barbara Morrison, a Village resident for 17 years and a partner in Angel Feet, a reflexology studio in the West Village for the past 10 years, died Nov. 17 in St. Vincent’s Hospital at the age of 56.
She was diagnosed with cancer eight years ago, according to her friend, Judy Wicker.
A former interior designer and office manager, she studied reflexology with Wicker and was eventually certified in the practice, which involves manipulating pressure points in the feet to promote relaxation. She opened Angel Feet at 77 Perry St. in 1994 with a partner, Patricia Coleine, who continues the practice.
Born in Barbara Baumüller in Erlangen, Germany, she came to New York in the early 1970s.
An early marriage ended in divorce. A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Sun. Dec. 5 at Stephen Haller Galleries, 542 W. 26th St.
Greenwich Villager Funeral Home, 199 Bleecker St., was in charge of arrangements.
