The Port Authority has just moved the entrance to the PATH World Trade Center stop 50 feet to the south as it continues to build the permanent train station at the site, the Lower Manhattan Construction Command Center reports. The Church St. canopy entrance will be taken down and recycled over the next few weeks. The Port plans to open the stop’s third temporary entrance on Vesey St. in December in order to keep the station open until the end of 2009, when the station designed by Santiago Calatrava is completed.
