The Downtown Giants Youth Football and Cheerleading program is accepting registrations for the fall 2006 football season. Three teams will be offered for children aged eight and under, ten and under and 12 and under. Eleven year olds up to 99 lbs. are accepted in the ten and under group, and 13 year olds up to 125 lbs. are allowed in the 12 and under group. The fee is $250 per football player and $195 per cheerleader. Tryouts — for the 12 and under football group only — will be held at Pier 40 near Houston St. on July 28, 29 and 31.
