Gallery stretched art’s boundaries

Shrouded in red fabric, dancers snaked their way around “The Last Loft Show at the Puffin Room,” produced by the gallery’s director, Carl Rosenstein. After 15 years of art and political activism, the Broome St. gallery is closing. As for the space’s future, Rosenstein said, “‘The Last Loft Show’ can be interpreted as a metaphor for the death of culture in Soho. The future is unwritten.”
