Police are looking for six individuals wanted for a robbery in Hells Kitchen last month (NYPD)

A 17-year-old male was lured to a location in Hell’s Kitchen last month where he was punched, kicked and robbed by a mob of six people, police said.

The victim was attacked at around 3:45 p.m. on Sunday, April 16 by the group while in the vicinity of 41st Street and 9th Avenue.

The teenager attempted to flee the undisclosed location but was pulled to the ground by the group and punched and kicked. One of the suspects then struck the victim in the head with a glass bottle and ripped off the chain from the victim’s neck.

The victim ran to the next block where the suspects got ahold of him and his backpack and smashed his iPad. The suspects then fled eastbound on 41st Street toward 9th Avenue. The 17-year-old was transported to an area hospital where he was treated for a laceration to the head.

The group, according to police, consisted of five males and one female. It isn’t clear whether the victim knew the suspects.

The police have released photos of the suspects.
