Josh Luteran is accused of attacking the 38-year-old woman at about 1 a.m. on Tuesday after the pair got into a fight, pounding her head with his fists, police said. The woman initially refused medical attention, a law enforcement official said, but was eventually persuaded. She then became unresponsive on the way to New York Methodist Hospital in Park Slope, where she was placed into a coma. It was not immediately clear what the initial argument was over. Luteran was arrested around 12:40 p.m. on Wednesday, police said. He is charged with assault and robbery, police said.
