Kidnap-attempt suspect

Police have released a sketch of a suspect who they say grabbed and attempted to abduct a 10-year-old girl in the East Village on the evening of Oct. 12 in the vicinity of East Third Street and First Avenue and Avenue A. He is described as a Hispanic man between the ages of 20 and 30, weighing about 160 pounds, who was wearing a red knit cap and holding a black umbrella when he approached the girl.
