Get ready for a star-studded lineup of performances at the Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks show this year. The full list of performers has just been announced as anticipation was building for what will undoubtedly be an exciting evening of stars, music, pyrotechnics and patriotic pride.
Oscar-winner Ariana DeBose will host the iconic event that celebrates America’s birthday. The Jonas Brothers, Eric Church, Lenny Kravitz and other amazing artists will star at the 49th edition of the show, which is set for Friday, July 4, starting at 8 p.m.
This year, the annual tradition is back on Lower Manhattan’s East Side after being held along the West Side’s Hudson River waterfront in 2024, providing an extra treat for New Jerseyans.
Before the fireworks go off at around 9:25 p.m., the celebs will take the stage at The Rooftop at Pier 17. Audiences can tune in to NBC in advance of the fireworks spectacular to see performances by:
- Pop-rock band, The Jonas Brothers
- Country music singer, songwriter Eric Church
- Rock legend and guitarist, Lenny Kravitz
- Pop-music singer, Ava Max
- Actress and singer, Keke Palmer
- Country music legend, Trisha Yearwood

The telecast will also celebrate the upcoming Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games and the NBA’s return to the network this fall.
The eye-catching pyrotechnics will be set to a musical score produced by Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson and James Poyser, accompanied by a live performance from DeBose. Organizers said the 25-minute musical score will celebrate themes of community, resiliency and shared connection.

“Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks is a story of joy and celebration we have shared for 49 years,” said Will Coss, Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks executive producer. “We light the sky and create tradition, bringing millions across the country together for shared experience and memory.”

How to watch
Public viewing will be available from any area with an unobstructed view of the sky above the lower East River, with the show launched from the Brooklyn Bridge and four surrounding barges. Organizers of the event said additional details on public viewing, as well as a NYC-sponsored lottery for free public viewing tickets, will be announced in the coming weeks.
Can’t make it in person? Viewers nationwide can tune in to NBC or simulcast live on Peacock at 8 p.m. EST. An encore presentation of the show will also air at 10 p.m. EST on NBC.
