Market, like salmon, will head upriver

A worker at the Fulton Fish Market unloaded fish around 7:30 on a recent morning. The historic market is set to close down in a few weeks and relocate to Hunt’s Point Market in the Bronx. The operators of the South Street Seaport Mall, General Growth Properties, will have right of first refusal to lease two of the Fish Market buildings, but haven’t said what they will do. The property is controlled by the city.
