Mulch Mania: It’s tree-mendous!

Downtowners searching for an environmentally friendly way to discard their wilting Christmas trees and wreaths can bring them to Bowling Green this Sat., Jan. 9. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Downtown Alliance business improvement district will hold a Mulch Mania event featuring equipment that will chomp the evergreens apart. The resulting mulch will be available for anyone to take home to put on their plants, and free hot beverages will be served.
