Alan Streets painted “View With Statue of Liberty” at the Canal St. pier last Wednesday. The 34-year-old Lower East Sider is self taught and paints all over, even in tough neighborhoods. A native of Wimbledon, London, he said if he worked outdoors in England he’d be harassed. “Our ancestors were warriors. It’s in our bloodlines,” he said. He has no problems in New York, however. Streets sells his paintings at David E. Fur at 29th St. and Seventh Ave.
