Not so cozy

Sharp words led to broken glasses at the Famous Cozy Soup ’n’ Burger diner at 739 Broadway early last Friday morning. At around 2 a.m. on Feb. 12, a restaurant employee was involved in a verbal dispute with a man, police said. The man intentionally damaged three drinking glasses valued at $20 total, according to police.

Colin Harrington, 33, was arrested for misdemeanor criminal mischief.

 
Brothers in arms

There’s no good time to trade weapons in public. Around 4 a.m. on Sat., Feb. 13, a police officer observed two men on the southwest corner of Eighth Ave. and W. 14th St., according to a police report. The officer saw the two men holding brass knuckles and a billy club and exchanging them.

The pair, Louis Lumpkin, 39, and Steve Hollie, 29, were arrested for misdemeanor criminal possession of a weapon.

 

Thunder blunder

Not a good way to beat loneliness on Valentine’s Day. At Thunder Jackson’s bar, at 169 Bleecker St., a stranger forcibly touched a woman’s buttocks without her consent, police said. The victim’s two friends witnessed the occurrence at around 10 p.m. Sun., Feb 14.
Police arrested Kelson Jones, 31, for misdemeanor forcible touching.

Missing from L.E.S.

Jordan Rojas, 19, above, has been reported missing. He was last seen around 10 a.m. on Thurs., Feb. 11, at 70 Baruch Drive in the Baruch Houses, the Lower East Side public housing complex south of E. Houston St. by the East River.

Rojas is 5-feet-6, 240 pounds and is reportedly in good physical condition. When last seen, he was wearing a green Army jacket, blue jeans and black shoes. As of this Tuesday evening, police said he was still missing and that the investigation is ongoing.

Citi Pharmacy

Police observed a man forcefully rock and pull a Citi Bike out of its docking station and walk away with it in front of 135 Christopher St., according to a report. At 10:30 p.m. on Tues., Feb. 9, police arrested the man at the scene and found a clear bag of alleged marijuana in his right hand.

At the Sixth Precinct stationhouse, upon a search, police found a clear bag with white powder in it, empty clear gel caps, empty clear zip bags and a prescription pill bottle containing 68 alleged alprazolam tablets (also known by the brand name Xanax).

The man told police, “I was just joking around. I’ll put it back. That’s sugar.”

Police arrested Ryheenme Bell for criminal possession of a controlled substance.
