Detectives in Queens are on the hunt for two armed robbers behind a home invasion who left family members tied and stole a fortune in cash and jewelry from them.
Law enforcement sources said the incident occurred at a residence near the corner of 152nd Street and 12th Avenue in Whitestone at about 7:05 a.m. on June 9.
Authorities say a man wearing an Amazon delivery vest waited for the residents to answer the door before the faux delivery man and an accomplice wearing a black hooded sweatshirt pushed their way inside.

Sources familiar with the incident say while brandishing firearms, the intruders burst into the home and forced a family of five — including a 10-year-old child and a 4-year-old child — into the basement, where they bound them with duct tape.
Police said the robbers then pillaged the residence, stealing $15,000 in jewelry alone from a safe. They also grabbed the victims’ passports.
Following the robbery, the crooks stole the victims’ vehicle and fled the scene; the automobile was later found abandoned near the corner of 154th Street and 14th Avenue, Citizen reported.
Officers from the 109th Precinct responded to the incident. No serious injuries were reported.
No arrests have been made in the ongoing investigation, police reported.
