Ray’s 79th Birthday

Ray’s sexy birthday: Ray (a.k.a. Asghar Ghahraman) of Ray’s Candy Store on Avenue A celebrated his 79th birthday last Sunday night with a little help from his friends, who, as usual, hired a burlesque dancer to shake it on the counter where he usually shakes up his shakes and egg creams. This year’s dancer was Justine Joli, who earlier in her career appeared in Penthouse and Hustler, and has more recently moved into burlesque. But now she can say she’s reached the pinnacle after having danced on Ray’s counter top. Thanks to Shawn Chittle for the photo!
