Staples to take old Goody space

According to Honi Klein, executive director of the Village Alliance Business Improvement District, Staples office supply store will be occupying all three floors of the former Sam Goody store on Sixth Ave. between W. Eighth St. and Waverly Pl.

“This was verified,” Klein said. “I think it’s terrific. It’s a good brand name that will bring people to the area.”
