Yes ‘Way’ for Ms. magazine! Mendez, Steinem and Co. unveil new street sign

At the dedication of Ms. Magazine Way, at E. 32nd St. and Third Ave., Nov. 15, from left, Assemblymember Deborah Glick and City Councilmember Rosie Mendez were joined by Gloria Steinem, co-founder of the groundbreaking feminist women’s magazine. Ms. was launched there in 1971 as a sample insert to New York magazine. The spot — which now sports the honorary street co-naming sign — is near the northern end of Mendez’s City Council District 2.
