Man stabbed dead near Brooklyn grocery store; suspect still wanted

Detectives in Brooklyn are working to find the killer who stabbed a man dead on Saturday afternoon.

Police said the victim, 44-year-old Corwin Adams of Gates Avenue in Brooklyn, was fatally attacked near a grocery store at 1567 Fulton St., at Albany Avenue, in Bedford-Stuyvesant at about 4:25 p.m. on March 29.

Officers from the 79th Precinct, in responding to a 911 call about the attack, found Adams with a stab wound to his chest.

EMS rushed the man to Interfaith Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

So far, no arrests have been made in the ongoing investigation, police said.
