With six teams on bye and many regular fantasy starters unavailable, here are some players worth starting and sitting this week:
START
Cam Newton (QB, Panthers)
Newton has turned it around after a shaky start. He should be considered a top five QB the rest of the way.
Alfred Morris (RB, Redskins)
No need to worry about the emerging threat of Roy Helu this week, as Morris has a very friendly matchup against the less than stellar Chargers defense.
Keenan Allen
(WR, Chargers)
While San Diego’s ‘D’ stinks, their offense is quite impressive and this talented rookie is emerging as their new No. 1 receiver.
SIT
Tom Brady (QB, Patriots)
Something has been off all year in New England, which has been hurting Brady’s production.
Andre Johnson (WR, Texans)
Has a tough matchup against Vontae Davis and the Colts, who have shown the ability to come prepared whether they will be playing Tom Brady, Peyton Manning or Case Keenum.
Pierre Thomas
(RB, Saints)
New Orleans is unpredictable in giving touches to their RBs, and the Jets are a tough matchup.
