The New England Patriots controlled the night from the opening whistle, building a dominant early lead and riding it to a 33–15 win over the New York Giants on Monday night. While the Giants showed late fight behind Devin Singletary and Darius Slayton, the early damage proved too much to overcome in what is their seventh-straight loss.

New England struck first with a field goal, but the real momentum shift came minutes later when Marcus Jones ripped off a 54-yard punt return for a touchdown, stunning the Giants’ sideline and giving the Patriots a sudden 10-0 edge. Drake Maye followed by carving up the New York secondary, hitting Kayshon Boutte for a short score to stretch the lead to 17–0 before the first quarter ended.

The Giants (2-11) finally broke through in the second quarter when Jaxson Dart connected with Darius Slayton on a 30-yard touchdown, New York’s first jolt of life. But Maye immediately answered again, this time dropping a deep strike to Kendrick Williams for a 33-yard touchdown that pushed the lead back to three scores. Two more Andrés Borregales field goals, including one as time expired in the half, sent New England into the locker room up 30–7.

New York’s defense settled in after halftime, holding the Patriots scoreless in the third and giving the offense a chance to chip away. Early in the fourth quarter, Singletary finally broke through, bouncing outside for a 22-yard rushing touchdown to cut the deficit to 30–13. Dart then found Slayton on the two-point conversion to pull the Giants within 15.

But that was as close as they would get. With 2:14 left, Borregales drilled his fourth field goal of the night, extending New England’s lead to 33–15 and sealing the game.

For the Giants, Dart completed 17-of-24 for 139 yards and a touchdown, while Singletary posted 67 rushing yards and the lone offensive score. Slayton, despite limited opportunities, made both of his catches count, including a touchdown and a two-point conversion.

New England’s early surge and efficient execution set the tone, and the Patriots never allowed the Giants to fully climb back into the game. New York’s late push showed resilience, but the hole was simply too deep to escape.
