The New York Rangers’ centennial uniform officially has a white counterpart.
The NHL and Fanatics on Wednesday officially unveiled uniforms for the Rangers and Florida Panthers to be worn in the Discover NHL Winter Classic at LoanDepot Park in Miami on Jan. 2, 2026.
The Rangers’ uniform features inverse elements of its centennial uniform, as the club continues its 100th season celebrations. The jersey is off-white and reads “NEW YORK” diagonally across the front, opposite the design of the centennial jersey.
The Rangers’ classic sleeve stripes are bigger, a nod to the game’s setting in a baseball stadium.
One notable addition to the Winter Classic uniform is the red apple patch, the Rangers’ team initials embroidered inside, affixed to the left shoulder. The apple is a reference to a similar emblem on the centennial uniform, though it’s promoted from its hem tag position. The Winter Classic patch is affixed to the right shoulder.

Photos of the jersey were leaked late Tuesday in an eBay listing for a youth version. The official launch on Wednesday confirmed the design, along with the blue name and numbers.
The Rangers will also wear blue helmets, red pants, multicolor gloves, and white socks — with the oversized sleeve stripes — to complete the look.
2026 will mark the Rangers’ third appearance in the Winter Classic and sixth appearance in an outdoor game — tied with the Pittsburgh Penguins and Philadelphia Flyers for the second-most appearances in the league.
The Rangers are 5-0-0 in outdoor games, most recently defeating the Islanders 6-5 in overtime at MetLife Stadium in the 2024 Stadium Series. They beat the Philadelphia Flyers in 2012 and the Buffalo Sabres in 2018.
The club’s five outdoor game wins and their 21 goals scored in outdoor events are the most in NHL history.
Winter Classic tickets are on sale through Ticketmaster. The jersey will be on sale Thursday at 10 a.m. ET.
